Broward County Library Summer 2010 (Broward County)

FLIPANY partnered with the Broward County Library system in providing a series of Nutrition workshops to adolescents between the ages of 11-18. The workshops were conducted in two groups: Tweens Two Queens and Boys 2 Men

United Healthcare Summer 2010 (Miami-Dade County)

FLIPANY and United Healthcare teamed up to provide nutrition workshops to groups of senior citizens throughout the Miami-Dade area. In these highly interactive classes, focused on teaching seniors how to make healthy food choices (using the MyPyramid specifically designed for older adults by Tufts University), the importance of staying hydrated and ways to incorporate physical activity into their daily lifestyle.
