Share Our Strength’s Operation Frontline® is a groundbreaking

nutrition education program that helps families help themselves

by teaching them how to prepare healthy low-cost meals.

Professional chefs and nutritionists lead hands-on courses that

instruct adults, teens, and kids living on a low-income how to

get the most nutrition out of a limited budget. All participants

in the four and six week programs receive recipes & nutrition

information during each day’s lesson, as well as a bag of

groceries so they can prepare the recipes taught that day at home.

OPERATION FRONTLINE CLASSES

KIDS UP FRONT: Children ages 8-12 learn about nutrition and healthy snacking. Simple recipes are provided which children can prepare themselves.

THE POWER OF EATING RIGHT: Teens 12 - 15 learn healthy eating habits and meal preparation skills.

SIDE BY SIDE: School-aged children and their families learn together about healthy eating and the importance of family mealtime.

EATING RIGHT: Adults and Senoirs learn healthy meal preparation and grocery shopping on a limited budget. The course is available in multiple languages.
